Ohmmeter Test

INotel All ohmmeter tests must be performed with engine not running
1Insert jumper wires in stator connector, terminals" and "B"Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect between jumpers Meter must show 850 85 ohms
3Repeat Step using stator connector, terminals "C" and0"'al 4To test for grounded condition, connect ohmmeter, alternately, between terminals" A", "B", and clean engine ground Any needle movement indicates charge coil or leads are grounded Locate and repair ground, or replace stator assembly5Repeat Step using terminals "C" and "0"6Complete all circuits disconnected during this test
