Ohmmeter Test Note All ohmmeter tests must be performed with engine not running
0 1Insert jumper wires in stator connector, terminals "A" and "B"
Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect between jumpers Meter must show 480 25 ohms
3Repeat Step using terminals

f81 4To test for grounded condition, connect ohmmeter, alternately, between terminalA" andB" jumpers and clean engine ground Any needle movement indicates charge coil or leads are grounded Locate and repair groundor replace stator assembly5Repeat Step using terminals
