center of the starter housingEngage the pin of the pulley with the inner loop of the rewind spring and instaTI the pulley in the starter housing
f151 10Lightly apply OMC Triple-Guard grease or Lubriplate 777 to the spindle bushing and pawl pins on the pulleyInstall the bushing and the shim into the starter pulleyNext install the friction platelinks, and pawlsSecure the pawls with the retaining clips
f151 11Light apply OMC Triple-Guard grease or Lubriplate 777 to the spindleInstall the spindlefriction ringand two spring washers
