Make no dry assembliesLubricate bearings, shafts, and gears with OMC Hi-Vis gearcase lube
1241 1Oil and install new bearing in aft end of the bearing housing using OMC Bearing Installer PI 335820Press
against the lettered side of the bearing to prevent damage to the bearing when installingPress the bearing into the housing until the tool is seated on the housing
1251 2Oil and install new bearing in the forward end of the bearing housing using OMC Bearing Installer PI 321428Press against the lettered side of the bearing until the tool is seated on the bearing housing
12611271 3Install new seals back to back in aft end ofthe bearing housing using OMC Seal Installer PI 335821 Apply
OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to the metal casing of the seals before installingInstall the inner seal with lip facing into the bearing housing and install the outer seal with lip facing away from the bearing housing Apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the seal lips after installing4Lightly apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to new bearing housing a-ringPlace the a-ring in groove of the bearing housing
