i twist and remove all spark plug leads

GJ 2Remove six screws attaching gearcase to exhaust housingf21 3Separate gearcase and exhaust housing to expose the shift rod connectorRemove the upper connector screw4Remove gearcase and place in suitable holding fixture
Disassembly
1Remove propeller from gearcase2Remove the oil level plug and oil filii drain plug gearcase
