Lubricate the tilt tube and tiller handle components with OMC Triple-Guard grease
r;;l f71 1If any of the swivel bracket components were removedrefer to the two reference pictures for correct reassembly1sl 2Clean the threads of the four pilot shaft to steering bracket screws thoroughlyApply OMC Screw Lock to the threadsApply OMC Ultra Lock to top mating flange of the pilot shaftAssemble the pilot shaft to the steering bracket and tighten the screws to torque of 120-144 inIbs(14-16 Nm)1sl 3Install the upper front mount to the steering bracket with nut and washerTighten the nutto torque of 144-168 in lbs(16-19 Nm)4Lubricate and place the liner and friction block in the swivel bracket
