Lubricate the tilt tube and tiller handle components with OMC Triple-Guard grease
screws thoroughlyApply OMC Screw Lock to the threadsApply OMC Ultra Lock to top mating flange of the pilot shaftAssemble the pilot shaft to the steering bracket and tighten the screws to torque of 120-144 inIbs(14-16 Nm)
l!J refer to the two reference pictures for correct reassembly's1 2Clean the threads of the four pilot shaft to steering bracket
