Solenoid CheckAll Models
IN=l All engine wiring must be disconnected from the solenoid
before proceeding with this test
1191 1Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect one lead to terminal and the other lead to terminal The ohmmeter should show high reading12136
If the ohmmeter shows low reading, replace the solenoid
L!J negative battery jumper to terminal The solenoid should
close with an audible click The ohmmeter should show low reading
2Attach positive battery jumper to terminal
If the ohmmeter shows high reading, replace the solenoid3After installing the solenoid, coat all wires and terminals, except the battery" +" connection, with OMC Black Neoprene Dip
