Procedure Remove black lead from ground at CDConnect voltmeter between CD and common engine groundTurn key to START position Voltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at Turn key to START position
Result aIf no reading, go to Step
Check voltage between ground and CDSteps thru Remove starter to solenoid cable from CD to prevent starter engagement while making checksill
bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step

aIf meter reads battery voltage, lead is open between CD and
INotel Steps thru key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connecting
