Installation 1Thread the starboard end of the tilt tube into the spacer2Thread the adapter onto the port end of the tilt tuberJl 3U.s!ng wood or leather mallet, tap the tilt tube into proper position 4Be sure the lock tab is in correct position Igl "'" 5Install the starboard locknutReplace the locknut if definite resistance is not feltIgl "'" 6Torque the starboard tilt tube nut to 50-54 ftIbsi (68-73 Nm), then loosen nut 1a to 14 turnf101 7Install tilt cam and collar on the tilt tubeBe sure locating tab on collar fits in hole on tilt tube
