Before proceeding, be sure that all parts are perfectly clean Be sure that all replacement parts match original ones in size and shapeReplace all gaskets, a-rings, and sealing washers each time you assemble carburetor1If removed, install new calibration pocket core plugsInstall with convex side upSecurely flatten each plug with flat end punch and plastic malletApply Gasoila, OMC PI 200763, to the edge of plug2If removed, install new lead shotsFlatten lead shot with flat end punch and plastic malletCheck for leaks

4Install float valve seat and gasket 5Install inlet needle, clip, float, and hinge pin 1
14 16Install components of slow speed needle Place one a-ring on threaded end of adapter sleeve Lubricate a-ring with outboard lubricantPlace in groove on needle head Install adapter sleeve and torque to 30-35 inIbs(3-4 Nm) Install needle and spring Turn in carefully until it lightly contacts seat Back needle out for initial setting 60Turns 60TTL2'4 Turns 65, 70Turn
