Control Cable Identification
1Install the throttle and shift cables in the remote controlRefer to Cable Installation, Page 9-16
19l2Put the control handle into NEUTRAL positionThe throttle 19l3As you
cable casing guide will retract completely and the shift cable casing guide will go to the midpoint of its travelmove the control handle into FORWARD, the shift cable casing guide must retract and the throttle cable casing guide must begin to extend
4As you move the control handle into REVERSE, both casing guides must extend5Identify each control cable for proper installation later

Control Handle Friction
The throttle friction knob must be adjusted just tight enough to eliminate unwanted throttle "creep" under normal operating conditions
