RectifierRegulator Servicing Removal

1Remove the battery cables from the battery

2Remove the rectifierregulator cover3Separate the stator yellow and yellowblue lead connectorDisconnect the engine wiring harness purple and gray leads' bullet connectors
f2l 4Remove the rectifierregulator red lead from the starter solenoidf31 5Remove the four screws retaining the rectifierregulator to the cylinder blockRemove the rectifierregulator and sealIf undamaged, the seal can be reused Installation

[';1 1Apply light coating of OMC Triple-Guard grease to the rectifierregulator sealPlace the seal in its groove in the rectifierregu lator1sl 2Position the rectifierregulator on the cylinder blockInstall the four rectifierregulator screws and tighten to 60-84 in Ibs(7-9 Nm)
