Thermostat Servicing Disassembly

[!] 1Remove the thermostat cover2Remove thermostat assembly, inspect components3Inspect the thermostat seal in the cylinder head4Unscrew the two halves of the thermostat housingRemove the vernatherm and spring5Inspect the housing for cracks or heat damageReplace if necessary6Inspect the vernatherm and spring for signs of corrosion or heat damageReplace if necessaryAssembly 'sl 1: the pin into the vernatherm with the convex end of the pm facmg out2Position the vernatherm and spring in the housing halvesAssemble the thermostat housing 3Install the thermostat assembly in the cylinder head4Install thermostat coverTorque to 120-144 inIbs(13-16 Nm)
