8Remove the idle and intermediate circuit air bleed orifices with OMC Driver, PIN 317002
1201 9Rem:ve the float cover plug with large flat blade
screwdriver
10Remove the high speed fuel orifice with OMC Driver, PIN 3170021221 11To remove the fuel manifold from the throttle body,
remove the three screws and clamps
Inspection
1Inspect carburetor main body and float chamber:
Gasket surfaces must be smoothno nicks or irregularities All nozzles and pickup tubes must be securely in place
12 2Thoroughly clean components with mild aerosol solvent31
Do not clean carburetor or its components by submerging in strong carburetor cleaner or hot soaking tankStrong cleaners might damage components or remove sealing compounds
