Gearcase Servicing45, 55 Removal

i twist and remove all spark plug leads

2Remove the shift lever retaining pinPush the shift lever toward the powerhead to disengage the shift lever from the shift rodf31 3Mark the trim tab and the gearcase before removing the trim tab so tab is put back in the same positionRemove the trim tab retaining screw and the trim tab from the gearcase" f31 4Using 5fa inthin wall socket, remove the countersunk screw with the lock washer
