Assembly fJ1 1Assemble the tie bar to the stern bracketsIf equipped, place the ground lead and star washer between the port stern bracket and tie bar2Lubricate the swivel bracket bushings with OMC Triple-Guard greasePlace the bushings in the swivel bracketf811gl 3Position the swivel bracket between the stern bracketsPlace thrust washer between each of the stern brackets and the swivel bracket4Install the tilt tubeTighten the tilt tube nuts to 40-45 ftIbs(54-60 Nm), then back off one nut V4 turnr:jQl 5Apply OMC Nut Lock to threads of the upper mount to steering arm screwsInstall the mount and tighten the screws to 24-26 ftIbs(32-35 Nm)Be sure to place the ground lead under the port screwf11l 6Apply liberal amount of OMC Adhesive to heads of the upper mount screws7Place the bumpers on the upper mount screws
