Fuel Pump Servicing r:jl Before replacing suspect fuel pump, remove and clean the filter and install new filter elementAlso, remove the fuel hose from the fuel tank, and blow through all passages and hoses with low-pressure compressed air to be sure they are openThis might be the cause of inadequate fuel deliveryIf this procedure does not correct the trouble, test the fuel pumpTo prevent excessive fuel spillage, disconnect hose connector at motor before disassembly

felt in bulbf21 To service filter, loosen screw and remove cover Do not t=J lose small O-ring from around center post or large O-ring from outer edge of cover Wash filter element with clean solvent and brush Install filter with lip facing the fuel pump body Make sure the large O-ring is seated in its groove in the cover and the small O-ring is in place around center post Install cover headsDR3000
