Ignition Plate Servicing3, 4 Removal
i twist and remove spark plug leads
1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing,
2Remove the manual starter as described in Section 73Remove flywheelRefer to Flywheel Servicing
rv 1zl 4Loosen disconnect spring Lift the ignition plate from the three screws attaching ignition plate to retainer plate and
powerhead Remove throttle cable from ignition plate

The retainer plate and support plate may be for service by removing screws from support plate and removing spring from retainer plate
