0 2Remove the two ignition module mounting screws1sl 3Disconnect the brown and brownyellow lead bullet connectors4Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect to charge coil brown and brownyellow leads Meter must show 900 100 ohms5To test for grounded condition, calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scale and connect its black lead to clean engine groundAlternately connect ohmmeter red lead to charge coil brown and brownyellow leads Meter must show high reading6Replace charge coil if your test results vary7If charge coil tests good, replace ignition moduleRefer to Ignition Component Replacement, Page 3-198Install flywheel, refer to Flywheel Servicing, Page 3-89Complete all circuits disconnected during this testObserve proper ignition coil primary lead routingOrangeblue primary lead must be connected to the No.1 ignition coil
