rAl 3Remove the shoulder screw retaining the starter lockout leverlockout lever springand washer to the starter housing
4Remove the nut from the starter pawl retaining screw
IC1 5Remove the starter pawl retaining screwwasherand starter pawl plate with plate return spring from the starter assembly
r]l 6Remove the starter housing spring CD and the starter pawl lJ Q) with spring washer from the starter assembly

7Using screwdriver, pry open the pulley lockring remove ring from the starter
