Jet Drive Servicing Removal and Disassembly
i twist and remove all spark plug leads
'" 1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing,
rv 2Remove nutflat washerand shift cable end from reverse gate camL!J removing the adjusting nut and cable from the shift cable
anchorf21 4Remove six screws retaining the intake housing to the jet housingRemove the intake housing1al 5Bend tab-lock washer ears and remove impeller nut Remove tab-lock washer and discardf41 6Note the number and placement of impeller shimsRefer to Impeller Clearance AdjustmentRemove impeller adjustment shims from driveshaft1sl 7Remove the impeller from the driveshaftRetain the impeller key and impeller sleeve 1sl 8As soon as the impeller is free of the driveshaft, check to see if any shims were above impellerIf so, note their number and placement for reassembly, then remove themr:jl 3Remove cable by rotating shift cable to vertical position and
