10Push down on the cable and attach the cable nutTorque the nut to 36-48 inIbs(4-5 Nm)11Remove the cable head from the new control cable by turning clockwiseits threads are left-hand12Slide the cable sleeve onto the new cable13Lightly coat the O-ring with OMC Triple-Guard greaseInstall the cable head back onto the cable by turning counterclockwiseTighten securelyr;Ql 14Slide the cable sleeve next to the cable headPosition the cable and sleeve assembly next to the steering arm and secure with tie straps
