Ignition Component Replacement 1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leadsf61 2Remove the screws retaining the ign ition component that is being replacedr;"J 3If the charge coil or ignition module is being replaced, separate the bullet connectors underneath the ignition module
Remove the wire clamp from the ignition plate
Loosen the five ignition plate screwsLift the ignition plate from the powerheadRemove the plate from bottom of the ignition plate
7Remove the leads from the spiral wrap and from the ignition component
8Apply OMC Ultra Lock to the threads of the component retaining screwsLoosely install the new ignition component on the ignition plateConnect bullet connectors if necessary
Route leads and install clamp wrap
