Warning Signals Push fuel hose off fuel fittingsdon't pullIf pushing won't separate hose and fitting, carefully cut the hose along its side and peel it back to avoid damaging the fittings"Low Oil" Signal complete procedure for testing the "low oil" circuit can be found in Installation Recommendations, this section"No Oil" Signal 1Connect shop tank with 50:1 fueloil mixture to the fuel inlet fitting2Carefully cut the oil supply hose from the 3Start the engine and run at 1000 RPM in gear4After the residual oil is exhausted from the oil pump, the "no oil" circuit should activate the warning horn The horn should sound 12 second on, '2 second off5If the horn does not sound within minutes, check for voltage at purple lead, connector terminal "D", when engine is running and check the tachometer circuit Check the boat's tachometer (if equipped), or connect known good tachometer to the tachometer circuit6If the tachometer circuit and the warning horn circuit are okay, pumprepair or replace the oil inlet fitting
