Installation 1Insert tube into exhaust housing and push tube into lower crankshaft sealshaft Insert shaft into tube and push shaft onto end of crankshaft3Apply oil in the water tube grommet2 51 4Coat the driveshaft splines with OMC Moly Lube5Install the gearcase using care to align water tube in grommet and driveshaft splines with the transmission shaftTurn propeller shaft clockwise to engage driveshaft into transmission shaftAlways turn the flywheel or propeller shaft in clockwise direction only to avoid water pump impeller damage6Apply OMC Nut Lock to the threads of gearcase mounting screwsInstall the screws and tighten screws to torque of 89-115 inIbs(10-13 Nm)7Apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the propeller shaft and new drive pin8Install propeller onto drive pin and secure with new cotter pin 1241 2Apply OMC Moly Lube on both ends of the transmission
