Assembly Make no dry assembliesLubricate bearings, shafts and gears with OMC Hi-Visgearcase lubricant1,5l 1To install new forward bearing, assemble OMC Collar, PIN 115313 to OMC Bearing and Seal Installer, PIN 115310Place the lettered side of the bearing to the collarSupport the nose of gearcase on block of wood on the floorUsing mallet, drive the forward bearing in until it is seated
1161 2To install new lower driveshaft bearing, assemble OMC
Collar, PIN 115314 to OMC Bearing and Seal Installer, PIN 115310Place the lettered side of the bearing to the collarDrive the bearing in until the installer contacts the top of gearcase
G2] 3Install the bearing spacerr:J8l 4Install new upper driveshaft bearing using OMC Bearing and Seal Installer, PIN 115310Press against the lettered side of the bearing until the tool is seated on gearcase
f171 5Using No.3 truarc pliers, install bearing retaining ring with
sharp side of ring facing out
