1Apply OMC Moly Lube to the square end of crankshaft
2Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound on both sides of new powerhead gasket3Place the gasket on the exhaust housing and set the powerhead in place4Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to the powerhead retaining screwsInstall the screws and torque to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)5Install the ignition components as described in Section 36Install the rewind starterTighten the screws to torque of 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)7Install fuel tank and carburetor as described in Section 28Install engine coversTo avoid permanent powerhead damage, instruct operator to repeat the original engine break-in procedure, as described in Section 1, before putting engine back into normal service
