r:;l 1As you face the steering handle, turn the idle speed knob counterclockwise to minimum speed positionTurn twist grip throttle clockwise to the lowest throttle setting2Remove the screw retaining the throttle cable bracket to the powerhead
r:;l 3Verify the throttle grip is turned to the lowest position and the throttle cam is against its idle stop, then adjust the throttle cable bracket to align with its mounting hole4Before fastening throttle cable bracket to motor, turn the bracket one revolution toward throttle arm to lightly preload the throttle toward the closed positionMaximum Spark Advance Adjustment No maximum spark advance adjustment is necessaryCorrect wire positioning in the connectors is all that is required to maintain proper ignition timing
