TroubleshootingPower Supply
INotel Before beginning this procedure, be sure:
Key switch is OFF and emergency stop switch clip and lanyard is removed Engine battery is fully charged Engine battery cables are connected1Connect voltmeter Black lead to clean engine ground2Check for voltage at battery side of starter solenoid If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check battery condition and wiringr:jl 3Check for voltage at V2 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check Red lead between starter solenoid and relay bracket4Check for voltage at RedPurple leads on terminal strip If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check engine harness RedPurple lead and engine harness 20 amp fuser:jl 5Push DOWN trim button and check voltage at V4 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check trim switch and wiringr:jl 6Push DOWN trim button and check voltage at V5 If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check DOWN relayGo to Relay Ohmmeter Tests7Push DOWN trim button and check voltage at Green lead, trim motor harness connector If voltage, repair trim motor or harness If no voltage, check trim harness Green leadr:jl 8Push UP trim button and check voltage at VS If voltage, go to Step If no voltage, check trim switch and wiringr:jl 9Push UP trim button and check voltage at V7 If voltage, go to Step 10 If no voltage, check UP relayGo to Relay Ohmmeter Tests10Push UP trim button and check voltage at Blue lead, trim motor harness connector If voltage, repair trim motor or harness If no voltage, check trim harness Blue lead
