Solenoid CheckAll Models All engine wiring must be disconnected from the solenoid before proceeding with this testr,gl1Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect one lead to terminal and the other lead to terminal The ohmmeter should show high reading If the ohmmeter shows low reading, replace the solenoid2Attach positive battery jumper to terminal and negative battery jumper to terminal The solenoid should close with an audible click The ohmmeter should show low reading If the ohmmeter shows high reading, replace the solenoid3After installing the solenoid, coat all wires and terminals, except the battery "+" connection, with OMC Black Neoprene Dip
