3Remove the shoulder screw assembly to the housing retaining the starter lockout
4Remove the nut
the starter pawl retaining screw
5Remove the starter pawl retain ing screwwasherstarter pawl plate with plate return spring from the starter assembly6Remove the starter housing spring and the starter pawl
with spring washer CD from the starter assembly

7Using screwdriver, pry open the pulley lockring and
remove ring from the starterRemove washer
