Assembly Before proceeding, be sure that all parts are perfectly cleanBe sure that all replacement parts match original ones in size and shapeReplace all gaskets, O-rings, and sealing washers each time you assemble carburetor1If removed, install new calibration pocket core plugsInstall with convex side upSecurely flatten each plug with flat end punch and plastic malletApply Gasoila, OMC PIN 200763, to the edge of plug2If removed, install new lead shotsFlatten lead shot with flat end punch and plastic malletCheck for leaks] 3Install nozzle well gasket4Install float valve seat and gasket5Install inlet needle, clip, float and hinge pin 14 16Install components of slow speed needle Place one O-ring on threaded end of adapter sleeve Lubricate O-ring with outboard lubricantPlace in groove on needle head Install adapter sleeve and torque to 30-35 inIbs(3-4 Nm) Install needle and springTurn in carefully until it lightly contacts seat Back needle out for initial setting602112 Turns 65, 70Turn levelInvert the carburetor bodyWith the float valve closed, the float's top edge should be between, but not touching the notches of OMC Gauge PIN 324891as shown INotellf adjustment is necessary, do not put pressure on the inlet needle
