Synchronization and Linkage Adjustments 60, 70, 65 WMLE It is important that this step-by-step procedure be followed in sequence and be performed exactly as written to ensure consistent engine idling and smooth operation throughout the RPM range The flywheel has two timing gridsBe sure the flywheel grid that is not marked "Rope" is used for remote control model adjustments
Remove the throttle cable from the throttle control arm and the anchor pocket beginning this procedure
Set Timing Pointer If the timing pointer or intake manifold has been disturbed, check the top dead center timing pointer alignment

rl 2Center the timer pointer (8)Rotate the flywheel in clockwise direction until the cast-in TOC mark is approximately 1112 in(4 cm) past the timing pointer
