Trim lIN" ITiit lDOWN" Mode 1When the DOWN button is pressed the pump rotates in counterclockwise direction2Fluid pressure opens the DOWN check valve and passes through DOWN shuttle valve to the UP shuttle valvewhich mechanically opens the UP check valve 3Fluid pressure is directed through the DOWN check valveto the TOP ofthe tilt cylinder, to move tilt piston DOWN4When the swivel bracket contacts the top of the trim rods, the mechanical force of the tilt cylinder pulling the motor down, pushes the trim pistons downFluid is pulled from the reservoir to the top of the trim cylinders5Low pressure fluid leaves the BOTTOM of all cylinders, moves through the open UP check valve and returns to the pump6In the tilt range, volume differential caused by the tilt piston rod, causes excess fluid to vent to the reservoir through the down relief orifice 7In the trim range, fluid from bottom of all cylinders is routed to the pump which feeds only the tilt cylinderThe excess fluid vents to the reservoir through the down relief orifice 8When all pistons are completely retracted, increased pressure vents through the down relief orifice to protect the unit from stall pressures
