The throttle friction knob must be adjusted just tight enough to eliminate unwanted throttle "creep" under normal operating conditionsf'1Ol 1Turn the knob clockwise to increase friction and counterclockwise to decrease friction2Make preliminary, light adjustment before operating the engine3Make your final adjustment with the boat and engine operating under normal conditionsTrimTilt Switch 1Temporarily disconnect the control handle trimtilt harness from the trimtilt motor harness2Use an ohmmeter calibrated on appropriate scale or continuity light to test continuity
