Starter Circuit Check Chart Notel Battery must be fully charged

Procedure Remove black lead from ground at CDConnect voltmeter between CD and common engine groundTurn key to START positionVoltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at Turn key to START position
Result aIf no reading, go to Step

Check voltage between ground and CDSteps thru Remove starter to solenoid cable from (i) to prevent starter engagement while making checksvoltage between ground

bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
