Thermostat Servicing Disassembly 1Remove the thermostat cover2Remove cover and diaphragm with thermostat assembly
[!] 3Inspect the thermostat seal in the cylinder head4Unscrew the two halves of the thermostat housingRemove the vernatherm and spring5Inspect the housing for cracks or heat damageReplace if necessary6Inspect the vernatherm and spring for signs of corrosion or heat damageReplace if necessaryAssembly f5l 1Insert the pin into the vernatherm with the convex end of the pin facing out2Position the vernatherm and spring in the housing halvesAssemble the thermostat housing3Install the thermostat assembly in the cylinder head
