The port head has temperature switch with two wires, the starboard head has switch with one wire21 Rotate cylinder block so that starboard cylinder head surface is parallel with floor22Repeat Steps 16 through 17 for starboard cylinders23Rotate cylinder block so that crankcase mating flange is facing up24Push all pistons to Top Dead CenterRemove numbered connecting rod caps [!!] 25Gently lower crankshaft assembly into place Orient all crankcase seal ring gaps facing up Locate tab on lower bearing seal housing in recess in crankcase
Locate each center main bearing split sleeve on its dowel pini.i9l 26Lubricate No.1 crankpin and bearing assemblies with Evinrude or Johnson Outboard LubricantSlowly pull No.1 connecting rod up to crankshaft and install bearings20 27Lubricate threaded portion of No.1 rod cap screws with Evinrude or Johnson Outboard LubricantAlign dot on rod cap with dot on the connecting rodInstall rod cap screws finger tight
