Assembly 1To replace the latch release rope, cut new rope to length of 45 in(115 cm)2Tie knot in one end of the rope and thread through the handle, bow arm and latch 13Tie an overhand knot, and secure with tie strap4 If the latch plates have been removed, install as followsPosition the latch plate on the deck bracketThe latch plate must be square on the bracket and perpendicular to the latch
&Lock.the threads of the retaining screw with OMC Nut Coat 1141 &Install the screw and nut and torque to 60-80 inIbs(5-9 Nm)5Place the cable drum in the bow arm 6Position the bow arm in the deck bracket
1151 Install one washer between the bow arm and deck bracket
on the starboard side
