Installation
1Clean the threaded area of the motor tube using OMC Cleaning Solvent
2Install motor tube seal into adapterApply RTVadhesive sealant to top of seal
3Spray OMC All-Purpose Marine Cleaner on the motor tube leads to provide lubrication4Insert the leads into the motor tube
Iol 5Apply Locquic Primer then OMC Ultra Lock to the threads of
the motor tube6Tighten .adapter on motor tube
INotel Align
screw hole existing dent in motor tube to maintain proper motor alignmentApply OMC Screw Lock to set screw and installTighten screw to 30-40 inIbs(3,4-4,5 Nm)10989
8Verify motor offset using the procedure on Page 4-109Install motor as follows:
Notel When sol.dering is required, use rosin core solderDo not
use an aCid core solder
