Check voltage between ground and point (]) Connect voltmeter at point (]) Turn key to "start" position
aIf no reading, solenoid is faultybIf meter reads 12 volts (battery voltageclick should be heard in solenoid), proceed to STEP 7aIf meter reads 12 volts (battery voltage) and starter motor does not turn, check starter motorbIf no reading, check for broken cable or poor connection
