f13l 14Insert small screwdriver under one end of the clutch spring and remove it from the groove by unwrapping it from around the clutch dogDiscard the springRemove the clutch dog pin 15Pull the clutch shaft out of the housing and slide the clutch dog off the rear of the shaftThe detent balls inside the rear of the shaft are not serviced and are available only as an assembly with the clutch shaft

Do not remove the bearing inside the reverse gearIt is not serviced separately and is available only as an assembly with reverse gear

17Push the shifter pivot pin out of the housingPull out the shift shaft, cradle and shifterLift shifter and cradle off shift shaft
