Exhaust Housing Servicing Removal If equipped ith power trim and tilt, refer to Section for removal instructions
1Remove the powerhead as described in Section 4
2, Remove the gearcase as described in Section 6V4 manual tilt models have tilt assist shock absorber which exerts considerable upward pressureRemoving the exhaust housing while in the down position could allow sudden release of parts which could cause serious injuryPlace motor in tilt position to relieve pressure
