PAll cranking output tests must be performed with spark
plugs installed and torqued in the cylinder headIf necessary to remove the spark plugs, be sure to keep the spark tester away from open spark plug holes
STEPTOTAL OUTPUT TEST
[!] 1Twist and remove the spark plug leads from all spark plugs2Disconnect 5-pin Amphenol connector between power pack and engine harness3Insert jumper wires in terminals "A" and "0" of both connectors4Install jumper wire between power pack 5-pin Amphenol connector, terminal "E" and clean engine ground
t=J tester leads to the spark plug leadsSecure tester clip to a
clean engine groundTo prevent possible arcing of high voltage, route tester leads at least in(51 mm) from any metal surface
f21 5Adjust the gap on the spark tester to 7 16 in(11 mm)Connect
