Installation 1Install new carburetor base gaskets dry, use no sealerBe sure gaskets have hole to match the primer fitting2Install fuel supply hoses and secure with tie straps3Install carburetors and secure with Allen head screwsAttach primer hoses4Install throttle linkageRefer to Synchronization and Linkage Adjustments, Section 1, for adjustment information5 V4 Models- if removed, install the pump on the back of the air silencer baseTorque screws to 18-24 inIbs(2-3 Nm) 6Attach the drain hose to the air silencer base and install the air silencer base using new gaskets installed dry, use no sealer7Apply OMC Screw Lock to the air silencer base retaining screwsInstall and torque the screws to 35-60 inIbs(4-6,8 Nm)8Momentarily pressurize fuel system and check for leaks9Install new gasket and air silencer coverTighten screws securely 2 -26
