in sequence and be performed exactly as written to ensure consistent engine idling and smooth operation throughout the RPM range
INote Remove both remote control cables from the engine before
performing the following adjustmentsTiming Pointer

I Note Ilf the timing pointer or intake manifold has been disturbed, check the top dead center timing pointer alignment
f':1To prevent accidental starting of the motor, disconnect
the spark plug leads and remove the spark plugs
f'1l 2Center the timer pointer Rotate the flywheel in c1ockwise direction until the cast-in TDC mark is approximately in(4 cm) past the timing pointer
3Install OMC Piston Stop PIN 384887 in No1 spark plug hole and turn in center portion until it contacts the No1 pistonLock the tool in place with ring
