InstallationUltra 4, Excel 4 1Install the throttle cable as followsInsert the cable through guide in starter housing Twist cable in clockwise direction and thread cable into throttle knob Install two retaining screws and tighten securely2Set starter housing in place3Apply OMC Screw Lock to the threads of the two retaining screws and one nut
Torque the screws and nut to 60-80 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
5Adjust the throttle cable as followsBack the idle stop away from the throttle knob Snap the throttle cable into the armature plate Push the throttle knob back until it contacts the starter housing Retract the idle stop, if necessary Push the armature plate in clockwise direction as far as it will go
