RemovalUltra 4, Excel 4 1Remove engine covers
J':2To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing,
twist and remove spark plug leadsRemove screw retaining throttle cable trunnion
Disconnect the throttle cable from armature plate by pulling the cable downwardthe two screws and one nut retaining the starter housing
6Remove the throttle cable as follows: Remove the two retaining screws from the top of the starter housing Twist the throttle cable assembly in counterclockwise direction to unthread the cable from the throttle knob
