the gearcase in the position shown and install
1331 14Install the forward gear by positioning it in the gearcase
Insert the propeller shaft into the forward gearPull up sharply on the shaft and you will feel the forward gear snap into positionRemove the propeller shaftler shaft
1341 15Position the reverse gear and thrust washer on the propelINotel The outside chamfered edge of thrust washer goes toward the shoulder on the propeller shaft16Install the spring and plunger into the propeller shaft17Apply OMC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to two of the detent ballsCOA3384
